About the band
Pio’s Baltic Love Affair is an international gypsy quartet (FI /DK /UK) playing string swing with heart and soul.
The band is comprised of five well respected musicians who are known for their earnest, warm and musical approach to the genre.
Together their music brings to mind romantic images of bohemian urban Café life and gypsy camp-fires.
Individually the bands members have been active for many years in various branches of the music business, it’s perhaps this mixed background that helps keep the band sounding fresh and inspired. They have appeared in various line-ups throughout Europe at festivals such as
